Suspected militants hurled a grenade on a patrolling party of 18 Bn CRPF in Laroo area of Kulgam district today afternoon , Reports said .
Assistant Sub Inspector of 18 Bn CRPF Rajinder Singh got injured in the grenade blast.
Some reports said that grenade thrower was apprehended by the CRPF Personnel.
Jaish-e-Mohammed Saturday said three militants killed by forces in Tral belonged to its outfit and claimed their “mission” would be taken to the logical end.
Spokesperson of the Jaish-e-Mohammed, Mohammad Hassan Shah, in a statement to The Kashmir Monitor said three militants belonged to its outfit were killed by forces at Satoora in Tral area of Pulwama district.
“Two of them were local militants and third one was Hassan Bhai,” the spokesperson said.
Mohammad Hassan Shah, claimed that the slain militants caused “huge damage” to the forces.
At least six protesters were injured in clashes in Satura village of Tral where a gunfight is underway since early Saturday morning.
Two militants have been killed in the ongoing encounter in Wantiwen forest area of Tral, police said.
IGP Kashmir Muneer Khan said that one or two militants of Jaish-e-Muhammad militant outfit are still holed up inside a cave in Satura forest.
Reports said that clashes erupted in Satura, Bus stand Tral amid a complete shutdown in the area.
Six protesters who sustained minor injuries in the clashes were shifted to PHC Aripal for treatment.
Meanwhile, mobile Internet services have been snapped as a “precautionary measure”.

He said that two to three militants have been killed during the firefight with Army’s 42 RR and Special Operations Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police so far.

The official said that at least five more militants are believed to be hiding in the area.
He said helicopters and para commandos have been pressed into service to neutralise the rest of the hiding militants.

Pentagon chief Jim Mattis said today he cannot confirm whether or not Islamic State chief Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is dead, after reports from Syria that the jihadist leader had been killed.
“If we knew, we would tell you — right now, I can’t confirm or deny it,” Mattis said.
“Our approach is we assume he’s alive until it’s proven otherwise, and right now I can’t prove it otherwise.”

Locals of Islamabad localities of Anantnag district on Friday accused police of arresting nearly 12 minors during the clashes that erupted after congregational prayers. Besides, the locals alleged that the forces personnel desecrated Jamia Masjid Islamabad.
The locals said that 16 youth have been detained among who 12 are minors.
The detainees include twelve year old Riyyan son of a Hurriyat activist.
Meanwhile, Auqaf committee Jamia Masjid Islamabad has called for a complete shutdown tomorrow against the desecration of Jamia Masjid in Islamabad and the arrest of dozens of boys. The Auqaf committee met in the Masjid after Maghreb prayers and called for a complete shutdown in Islamabad against the highhandedness of forces. The Committee also condemned the arrest of boys and demanded their immediate release.
Reports said that massive clashes erupted in Reshi Bazar, Cheeni Chowk and Sherbagh areas of old town after congregational prayers.
They said that a youth fell down from the roof of Jamia Masjid during the clashes.
Three youth injured in clashes were shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment.
Two youths were reportedly arrested with contraband of heroin worth crores in outskirts of Jammu.
“Police during checking of car at Nakka near Toll Plaza , heroin weighing around 14 to 15 kg was seized. Police said two persons were arrested.
