Militants lob grenade at CRPF camp in Pahalgam; fifth attack in past three hours in south Kashmir

 

In a fifth such attack today evening, militants lobbed a grenade at a CRPF camp in Pahalgam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said.

A police official said that militants lobbed a grenade at the camp in Sarbal area of Pahalgam

However, there was no report of any injuries.

Earlier, militants lobbed grenades at CRPF camps in Tral and Awantipora and a police station in Pulwama town.

At least eight CRPF men were wounded in Tral attack. Two policemen were injured in Pulwama grenade attack.

Two policemen were also injured after militants attacked cops guarding the residence of Justice (retd.) Attar in Anantnag. They also decamped with four rifles.
