No immediate flood threat, water level in Jhelum, tributaries increasing


The water level in the river Jhelum and its tributaries has increased due to heavy rains during the past 24 hours in the Kashmir valley.
However, the water level was still below danger mark though the authorities have alerted engineers and directed them to report to their respective places of posting.
A number of areas were submerged in Baramulla in north Kashmir, where flood alert has been issued this morning
