Well, announcement of demonetisation has indeed brought about a lot of changes in India as India is turning in to an all – new digital India. Even pensions are not far from this so – called digitalisation. In fact the Centre has ordered that all the departments from now on will be required to process pension cases online.
Such a system of having pension cases processed online has been started so that delays of any sort can be checked apart from making the process of pension related cases transparent. This step would further assist in having granted post – retirement benefits to the employees among other things. To ensure that things turn for the better, the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions has given strict orders that pension cases have to be processed electronically only.
The Ministry has instructed all the Central Government Department’s Secretaries that they follow the instructions so that all the pensioners get their due on time & cases are not delayed for whatsoever reason.
Bhavishya tracking system
In addition to the above stated things, the order said that there would be online Pension Sanction & Payment Tracking System so that the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions can keep a track of the pension cases.
This pension sanction & payment tracking system is known as Bhavishya; with the help of which not only the administrative authorities but also the retiring employees will be in a position to track the progress of the pension cases. Another aspect of this tracking system is that an individual would be able to monitor the cases online that too at every stage.
Process pension cases online with Bhavishya
Apart from the above stated aspects, the Heads of Offices are directed about the fact that they process the pension cases online only through Bhavishya. And whenever required, the concerned authorities will step in to help the retiring employees to submit the application form online.
In this manner every individual that is the retiring employee will be able to have the right to be up – to – date with their application form’s status. Earlier, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation or EPFO, which happens to be the retiring fund, had made it very clear that Aadhaar number has to be provided in order to receive benefits as per the EPF Pension Scheme.
If you are looking for pension, then it would be a great idea that you be ready with your Aadhar card. In case you do not have an Aadhaar card then apply for an Aadhaar card online at the earliest. Also keep it in mind that the digital life certificate can be submitted till the 28th of February, 2017.
And as far as these filing of pension cases are concerned then you would be required to file them online as this rule has been implemented right from the 1st of January, 2017. Readers, keep it in mind that pension cases are to be processed online through Bhavishya system only
